Red Parlor

Say YES!
Not only to your partner, but also to the civil wedding in the Red Parlor, one of the most beautiful rooms of the castle. In 1998, civil weddings were allowed here, making Weitenburg the first private castle in Baden-Württemberg where civil ceremonies could take place.

A very special setting for your civil wedding ceremony!

Castle Chapel

In our castle chapel, furnished in the finest Neo-Gothic style, Catholic, Protestant, or ecumenical weddings take place.
The delicate altar, a work of the sculptor Meintel from Horb am Neckar, is the centerpiece of the chapel.
The digital organ ‘Gloria,’ by the renowned German organ builder Kisselbach from Kassel, allows for the perfect musical accompaniment.

Ancestors Gallery

Celebrate present and future amidst the history of the castle.
For this, our Ancestors Gallery offers the best opportunities for up to 60 people – with historical paintings, parquet flooring, elegant furniture matching the room design, and the romantic view towards the Neckar Valley and castle courtyard. The adjoining Red Parlor is perfect for reception, dancing, and music.

Hohenberg Hall with Fireplace Room

In the extension of the castle built in 1985/86, the Hohenberg Hall and Fireplace Room were created, which is especially distinguished by the large window front with a beautiful view of the Neckar Valley at all times of the day. Fireplace, bar, and a large landscape wallpaper contribute to making it a very special area for your celebration.

The two rooms can be rented separately or combined for celebrations, providing space for up to 100 people.

Tower parlor

In the private wing of the castle, this uniquely beautiful room awaits you with almost floor-to-ceiling windows, which create the perfect atmosphere with the light.

Together with the adjacent Gentleman’s Room, smaller parties of up to 18 people also have the opportunity to celebrate in a very special atmosphere and experience a small piece of history and castle ambiance.

Hunter’s Room

Adjacent to the restaurant, accessible via a small staircase, is the Hunter’s Room, which was designed in 1954 by the architect Josef Vassillière.

For cozy, small gatherings with up to 14 people, it’s the perfect setting — and here too, you won’t miss out on the beautiful valley view. In good weather, you can also enjoy this view during the reception on the balcony.

Jägerzimmer

Gatehouse

The gatehouse found its place in the former area of the castle moat, and it has now been equipped with its own bar and facilities, evolving into a weather-independent area for receptions and also for the coffee table of larger gatherings.

Castle court yard

Equipped with high-quality furniture and umbrellas from the summer garden, our castle courtyard provides a wonderful location for receptions and coffee tables. Surrounded by four centuries of history, you can toast with your guests under the open sky here.
